Mr Fenn and Mr Poulsom join our school
This term we have been joined by two new members of the staff team
We have a new Acting Head teacher-Mr Gordon Fenn who will be in post until a substantive Head is appointed. The job was advertised last week.
We also have a new Year 1 class teacher Mr David Poulsom. David did his second teaching practice with us last Spring term alongside Mr O'Brien.
We know that you will all make them feel welcome!
Samba Band Update
**Update** Mr Bint has borrowed a set of drums so that the club can start-watch this space and newsletters for further information.
Mr Jon Bint is looking to start a Samba band here at school.
We are hoping to raise money to buy a Samba kit for the school. Mr Bint has already generously donated money towards this.
This would be a club for all children at the school.
Mr Bint has previously worked with groups and the children have thoroughly enjoyed playing the drums!
If you wish to support this project please hand donations into the school office. Sponsorship would also be another option!

Snowy Weather Activities

Dear Parents and children We realise that some of you have been stuck at home for quite a few days now It would be lovely if you could do a mini project of your choosing to bring into school to share with your class. Why not find photographs or information based on something you enjoy such as a sport or an author? Drawings or a daily diary of your snow activities would be interesting for others to hear about! We look forward to seeing them!

These are our new school rules for everybody here!
* We speak and act kindly to everybody
*We share and take turns
*We behave safely when we are in school
*We look after our things and other people's things
These rules come from the children, they were devised in classes and then simplified by the School council. We know that we can all work with these to make our school a happy, safe learning environment.
